THE
CHRONOLOGICAL BING
This new book has been
compiled by Lionel Pairpoint, Greg Van Beek and Malcolm Macfarlane with much
help from Martin McQuade. Running to almost 200 pages with about 80 photographs,
some of which have never been published before, the book is an in-depth look at
Bing’s TV career. We think that we have details of every major show in
which Bing participated and full details of songs and other artists are given
together with contemporary press comment where available. The page size is the
same as Lionel’s radio book and Wig’s discography. Paper quality is
the same as the magazine and there is a laminated coloured glossy cover. In
short it is a very prestigious book which will be the first publication of the
new International Club Crosby.
The
club cannot afford to print large qualities of the book in advance and we are
seeking payment up-front from those wishing to purchase this collector’s
item. It is unlikely that this book will ever be available again so, if you
want one, send off your payment as soon as possible. Because it is
a limited edition and as we want it to be a high quality production, the cost
is £24.99 (including post and packing) in the UK, £26.99 in Ireland
and Europe, $50 in the USA and Au$65.99 in Australia and New Zealand.
